Do You Want To Spend A Day In Your Life?
Have you ever wanted to meet someone famous in your life? Have you ever wanted to see how a day in life is like of that famous person? If I was ever given the chance to meet and spend one whole day of my life with someone famous, I will be willing to do so with Sylvester Stallone.Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone was born on July 6th 1946 in New York City to a middle class family. Sylvester made his way to the one of the biggest celebrities and today, He is one one of my favorite movie star as I have watched all his Rocky and Expendables movies to the date, I read about him all the time and have a huge collage dedicated to him in my room. To start off, his movies are amazing. They all may have different plots and themes but teach true lessons …show more content…
If asked what will I do to spend a day with him, I will definitely be willing to go see him shoot for his next movie. I could get to see how movies are made and what special effects movie makers use, I could fulfil my dream of watching Sylvester Stallone do stunts live in front of me and I could also get autographs of other movie stars in the film.By this I know what the movie is about in advance. To start off, as a kid I always wondered how do movie stars play around with fire and fight so easily on camera. When I got older I found out that playing with fire and fighting isn’t real but skills of movie making and special effects. Once at Sylvester’s movie shooting I will see how all this is done and understand special effects live in front of me. Tricks and effects in movies are useful and helpful things as the actors don’t have to take risks and injure themselves but I also heard that Sylvester does his stunts himself as he has years of practice. When I watched the first Rocky movie I read this mind blowing fact about him. Soon I started to dream about Sylvester doing stunts in front of me. Relating to my words mentioned above of going to his filming site, an advantage of being present at the site will be that I will get to see Sylvester do stunts in front of me. Lastly, the biggest advantage of watching Sylvester act live will be that I could get to see what his new movie is about in advance. Having prior knowledge of his work will be good because I will know all the things about the film before his other fans will. Going to a movie star’s film shoot will have many advantages as mentioned in my work

Based on the films that Sylvester Stallone has acted in, he has always been portrayed as a personality actor. He is mostly view as action war and a professional boxer fighting enemies. If he were to do a different role, then it will not be the same because the audience envision him as an action fitting character…

“Robert Mitchum was a one-of-a-kinder, he was a legend, bigger than life.” Bruce Dern, a former Co-star, said in an interview (“Robert Mitchum”). He was so special that until 1970s, a new generation of critics placed him in the first rank of screen actors, before that, he didn’t get any Oscar. The character of Rocky Balboa was introduced to the American public in 1976, with several hit sequels produced following the original’s success. Rocky IV, one of my favorite movies starring Rocky, focuses on the boxer combating America’s greatest foe at the time, Russia. The USSR was at its peak, and with its supposed global dominance, the American people started doubting themselves, doubting America. In comes the hero, Rocky Balboa, who fights for America’s honor. Rocky has many characteristics of a standard hero, yet in some ways he breaks the mold.…

I met him in a casting session for Pleasantville. It was probably his first big part in a movie (he was 23 at the time), and if he was nervous, he didn't show it. He came in the door with that huge winning smile (like he'd already gotten some big cosmic joke), and it wasn't until after a few minutes of chatting that I noticed the women in the room were speechless. Not just speechless, frozen -- literally agape.…

The novel, To Live, by Yu Hua was banned in China when it was first published because the novel exposed the faulty rule of the Communist party in China. This literary masterpiece depicts four decades of Chinese history, including historic events as the Sino-Japanese war, the civil war, the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Mao’s Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution. During this time of culture and history, the main character, Fugui, experienced many endeavors in life. Ironically enough, the novel is called "To Live" when so many of the characters die in the story. Fugui is the only significant character in the novel that remains alive at the end of the story. The author, Yu Hua, beautifully articulated the political turmoil of the Chinese Civil war into the literary perspective of Fugui’s life and thus the novel, To Live, manifested. Hua portrays the civil war in different stages to embody Fugui’s life and growth as a person throughout the novel.…

And we should not forsake humanity. Do good to one another, be kind to one another and we all can live in harmony. Because of greed were far away from living in harmony. We always want more for ourselves. If we want more someone is this world will get less. This is why there are differences between rich and poor. For example, a rich person wants a Ferrari and a poor person also wants a Ferrari. But only the rich person will get the Ferrari. Why? They both want the same thing. Why the poor person can’t get the Ferrari? Because resources are scarce. If everyone in the world wants a Ferrari that would be impossible because we can’t cater everyone’s needs due to limited resources. So if we can’t afford a Ferrari we should not do anything that can harm another person to get what we want. Our basic needs are food, shelter, and cloth. We must make sure everyone have these basic needs, and then we can cater our other…
