The article that we are going to give a reaction paper about is entitled “Current and Future Trends in ICT” by Gordon Segal. Basically the topic talks about the progress and changes in the field of IT and ICT. It gives information on what has become and what are the things that must improve more. Not to mention the facts it gives that others need to focus also for it may be a great contribution upon the progress of technology and also livelihood of the users as well.

The article has given subjects that we may ponder to example in order for us to be in to date. These are: * Mainframe Computing * Mini Computing * Personal Computing * Desktop Internet Computing * Mobile Internet Computing

Upon understanding this subject we may be able to continue and understand that the article talks about progress in the use of computer and devices, changes in speed connection based on the improvement of the device used, trending needs, different uses for the said device due to its complexity but mostly it talks about internet connections and the connections it has on to ICT an IT fields. In our opinion the article is a great eye opener to people who needs to see that upon the improvement of technology these days so does the needs and changes of internet connection in part of the effects it deals to other branches like business transactions and demands to the economy. This topic may also get along with other improvements to the internet era as for example the cloud computing and what can cloud computing do upon the mobile internet. This may revolutionize on how data is stored and process in the application of internet and what changes it may do upon others. Possibilities are unlimited due to the various and outstanding things technology has been able to give us this days.

    Entertainment comes in many forms: music, videos, art, and literature are a few. These forms of entertainment, when used over the Internet, could result in some individuals crossing the line between reality and delusion. When the line is crossed, these individuals become fixated on obtaining more of the entertainment; which may result in doing so illegally. In this paper, I will analyze ethics in entertainment. An earlier study conducted by Charles W. Harvey (2004) is replicated, adding questions about the psychological effects of hyperreality and consequences of illegally downloading music from the Internet and copyright infringement. The misuse of intellectual property is not a new phenomenon within the entertainment or information technology industry. The Internet is a major vehicle for ethics violations of this sort.
