Classification Essay: Class Analysis

The first day of school is always the most awkward. Everyone sitting in a room full of people they have never met can be a little daunting. Walking into Comp. 2 class the first day no student knew what to expect. The instructor, Joan Henry, assigned the class into the groups that our first essay would be about. This assignment is a magnificent way to get students acquainted as well as set the standard for what is expected in class. The three interesting people in group five are James, Nick, and Collin.

The first person in group five is James. He has some pretty unique hobbies. One of his hobbies is Pokémon, a collectible card game based on the video game. He has come in first place in the last six league challenges he has competed in. For
Collin has a great deal of hobbies, one of them is reading. Reading stimulates the mind and helps you gain critical thinking skills. Mystery is one of the many genres he enjoys. His favorite mystery novelist is Agatha Christie, who is in the book of work records as the best-selling novelist of all time. Another genre he enjoys is biographies. One he particularly likes is The Disaster Artist written by Greg Sestero. Another one of Collins hobbies is cooking. With all the choices available cooking is all about imagination and ultimately, taste. One type of food Collin likes to make is breakfast. It's simple to make and delicious. Besides, who can say no to biscuits and gravy or bacon? Another favorite of his is Italian food. From pasta to pizza, Italian food is a wholesome meal packed full of flavor. Collin has numerous achievements. Graduating high school doesn't seem like much, but for a college student it’s the beginning of a career. Maintaining above average grade throughout high school like Collin is very important to future success. Transferring to an arts school is just one of the opportunities presented to him. Another one of his achievements is writing a screenplay. A class he was taking assigned groups to create a TV commercial. Since Collin is interested in working in entertainment that TV commercial was the beginning to a future full of success. Collin has accomplished so much in his life and still has goals set for the future. One of his goals is to graduate with his associate of arts degree. In order to accomplish that goal he will need to transfer to a four year university. By the end of this year he will have completed his second year at National Park and will be one step closer to his goal of acquiring a job in the entertainment Industry.
