Citigroup is one of the leading multinational financial services corporation in America. Their vision of success is evident in their company’s mission statement, where they boast 200 years of experience meeting customers’ needs. Citigroup appears to be a visionary firm, for their mission statement defines their path to success. Citigroup uses their invaluable experience to provide an array of services to meet the needs of clients all over the world. Citigroup believes that by producing the best outcomes for their customers, Citigroup’s shareholders ultimately benefit from it. Citigroup’s path to success is led by four basic values: common purpose, leadership, ingenuity, and responsible finance.
Citigroup thrives to follow their vision and mission statement my implementing several corporate-level strategies. To reach their goal of providing outstanding leadership and services, they offer an array of banking services to their customers. These banking services are diverse and modern in order to keep up with the developing economy and consumers demand. Citigroup not only offers checking and savings accounts at retail locations, they offer consumer loans such as mortgages and credit cards. Customers of Citigroup include individuals as well as large and small businesses. Citigroup’s clients are not limited to the United States, they span worldwide. In effort to gain competitive advantage Citigroup continues to provide financial assistance to organizations in developing countries. Their financial assistance includes supporting green energy initiatives in Peru and promoting entrepreneurs in Indonesia.
