The Ardnak Plastic Company
The stakeholders in this case are Bill, George Mackee, his wife Mary and their two children, Ardnak Plastic Inc. and its several hundred workers, the environment, the people of Hondo, the EPA and the Mexican government. The stakeholders in this case have their each and very own interest dealing with the company.

The Environment Protection Act (EPA) is a federal agency designed to protect the environment from pollution and the affect it has. This act was amended in the legislation in 1997 and establishes the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) as the statutory decision maker for environmental regulation and policy. The EPA administers legislation covering air and water quality, waste, contaminated land, noise, pesticides and hazardous waste. George is required to meet the standards of the EPA guidelines. The plant where he manages have been fined because their readings were not within standards. His boss tells him he would have to come up with a solution so that they pass the next inspection. If the factory fail to pass the next inspection, he could be forced to

As a fitness professional I conduct personal training, small group training and outdoor fitness boot camp classes during nearly ¾ of any given year. Obviously I cannot predict air pollution in the same way EPA experts can but I do have firsthand experience of conducting these various fitness activities outdoors in cities where air pollution was considerably higher than other metropolitan areas in the country, and how participants fared. By relating my fitness business to environmental air pollution may seem like a stretch but please consider that I taught outdoor classes in New York City just weeks following the September 11th attacks. The air was rancid, smelled like a demolition site (which I am very familiar with having grown-up with a father who ran a demolition company), and the mixture of fumes and unrecognizable stench, made commuting in the area difficult, let alone participation in high-level cardiovascular exercises. “The Clean Air Act, which was last amended in 1990, requires EPA to set National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for wide-spread pollutants from numerous and diverse sources considered harmful to public health and the environment. The Clean Air Act established two types of national air quality standards. Primary standards set limits to protect public health, including the health of at-risk populations such as people with pre-existing heart or lung disease (such as asthmatics), children, and older adults. Secondary standards set limits to protect public welfare, including protection against visibility impairment, damage to animals, crops, vegetation, and buildings. The Clean Air Act requires periodic review of the science upon which the standards are based and the standards themselves” (EPA, 2013).
