Not making this team hurt her and made her overanalyze everything she did on the field. But she learned to push those thoughts aside and just to go out and put in the extra work. This part inspired me because I have tried out for the Olympic Development Program here in Iowa and did not make the team. From experience I can say this fail makes you over think everything you do and also makes you ask yourself if you really are committed to soccer and that you can overcome this failure. No the language in this book would make the group lose interest because it thoroughly explains the subject of soccer and her life dealing with soccer. No there was not terms used in this book that were unfamiliar because I understand most or maybe all of the terms dealing with soccer. There was visuals of her life and soccer career in the book multiple times. Also, I have seen most of the games she talks about in the book so I can visualise what is happening. These visuals were very helpful because they helped me understand the book even
