Calculus Personal Statement

After taking calculus for nearly two semesters, I discovered that I loved that subject far more than I had anticipated. By the end of my first semester, I knew that I wanted to pursue a major that had calculus at its core; but I also wanted it to expand and complicate the material that I had already learn. After some thought, I realized that I would be committed and superfluously content to pursue a degree in physics.
When I first took the subject itself in high school, I found myself intrigued with the material. At first, I found some of the topics could be challenging: but very rewarding. I did a plethora of projects in that class and a had sufficient amusement with each one. But, of course, I naturally wanted to find a way outside of class to apply what I had learned. One of the ways I did this was by spending a few weeks designing simple computer programs to demonstrate a few of the laws and equations I had learned in class. It was tremendously satisfying.
One of the results of these programs was for me to start thinking about a few harder questions within physics. For example, I became particularly interested in reasoning how one could simulate artificial gravity, slow down in space effectively, or manipulate the effects of time dilation. First, I would be more than pleased to conduct research in the field or teach it. Personally, it would be an honor to both help increase our comprehension of the discipline, or encouraging aspiring scientists to its sublime nature. Furthermore, I would also be very ecstatic to seek a position at a space firm organization like NASA or SpaceX. For as long as I can remember, I have always thought that a career aimed at understanding or exploring the universe would be an amazing opportunity. And now, I have slowly come to realize that I with this degree I may be able to legitimately explore this
