Going on vacations is the greatest thing to do after working hard in school or at a job. Nothing is better than relaxing and having fun with your family or friends. One of the best vacations I had was going to the Bahamas. A beautiful island that its ocean is crystal clear water and feel the fish passing your legs. A week of no worries and it was like living in paradise. Four years ago, my family and I landed on the most beautiful island, the Bahamas, it was unbelievable. It was an amazing feeling getting to see and experience all the things that were in the Bahamas. At the hotel, that we reserved, they had an amazing buffet at dinner time. They had different types of seafood that I have never tried before. The bathrooms were enormous, it had a shower on the side and a tub in the middle of the bathroom. The view that we had of the ocean and water parks was outstanding. You can see the ocean is a true-blue color. The hotel was nothing compared to the hotels in the United States. The ocean is crystal clear water, it is nothing like the oceans in the United States. The sand is also very clean, it does not look muddy and dirty looking. Employees were passing out plastic rain coats for us to wear, the rain stopped and soon it became dark. The fireworks display was amazing, with red, white, and blue sparks falling down from the sky. Everyone waved their mini American flag as we sang the National

The Atlantis Resort is located on the island of the Bahamas. You may have seen commercials advertising Atlantis on TV or maybe you have been there. While the Bahamas is not in the United States, it is located about 300 miles off the coast of Florida. In order to travel to Atlantis, you need to either take a plane or a boat. Our travel from New Jersey to the Bahamas took about three hours by plane. This was my first time in a foreign country and the airport was the first sign of how different the Bahamas is from the United States. We had to walk from the runway to the airport terminal and instead of having air condition the airport had ceiling fans. Our cab ride to the resort gave me a chance to see beaches and the most beautiful blue ocean waters. On the grounds of the resort, there are many different hotels and various places to stay. Some people even own houses, or condos that are located near Atlantis! The resort is surrounded by aquariums filled with sharks, stingrays, and various seal life. Several times throughout the day, the Atlantis workers feed the sharks and stingrays by hand for everybody to see. When I arrived I could not believe what I saw. There were eleven pools and water slides everywhere I looked! Atlantis has various things to do for all ages. For example, there is a dolphin cay, where you can go in the middle of the ocean and have a chance to…

I also saw my grandma and Aunt Novelette. The day after that I really didn't do any thing but stay inside and watch DVD's, but that night was really funny because my cousin has the Shaggy Cd so we were singing to it and my cousin loves rapping, so we made up raps and mine went like this "Yo, my name is Toni and I'm so hot and you are not because you couldn't come up with this on the spot". That was great, right? You don't have to answer that. I know the answer "No".…
