The author believes that athletes are getting paid way too much money for their role in society; to play games for people’s entertainment. Salaries and wages are traditionally based on the value of one’s work but this rule does not necessarily follow in reference to high league athletes. I agree that our athletes are being paid too much money for what they do compared to other jobs in our society. I agree that teachers should definitely be paid a higher salary since if we did not have teachers, our future would become a look-alike of our past since students are our future. This topic ties to other major entertainers in society such as movie actors and television program hosts who are also paid too much for their value in our world.
