Introduction:
Despite the fact that United States is the most affluent country in the world, a significant portion of its citizens have inadequate access to medical care. The barriers to obtaining health care are numerous; perhaps the most difficult hurdle to overcome is the lack of financial resources to pay for it. But the problem of lack of access to health cares for large segments of the population. The largest barrier to obtaining needed care is the lack of financial means to obtain it. The uninsured the underinsured cannot be stereotyped for they include many people who are employed, the elderly, children, minorities, person with handicaps, pregnant women, and other vulnerable populations. A lack of insurance does not translate in some cases to a lack of access to medical care, but it does have a clear impact upon access of health care.
Discuss six unique problems associated with delivering health care to an indigent population. In the United States it has estimated that at least 48 million Americans are under insured or uninsured. Health care is a luxury indigent population cannot afford. Some families are made to choose helter over health care made government assistance is not an option. When a family member becomes sick, the hospital emergency room because a walk-in clinic to treatment minor illnesses, the waiting room is usually overcrowded and this resulted in extensive waiting times to be seen by a health care provider. The changes in the United States heath care system was occurring dramatically and pervasively managed care was altering how providers interacted with patients, funding for care was being restricted and many health care systems were using non physician providers to cut costs. Patients that have Medicaid have poorer access to care and poorer health results than patients with private insurance. In this case, privately health insured patients are able to discover more opportunistic treatment options, swifter medical care and are able to access more primary or preventative care. Medicaid patients have a difficult time accessing health care from medical facilities due to the poor reimbursement for provided health services. “Medicaid typically pays physicians 56 percent of the amount that private insurers pay” (Dayaratna, 2012, p.3). As doctors continue turning away Medicaid patients, it will remain difficult for these patients to seek health care from primary or specialty doctors. As a result of Medicaid patients being turned away, they are subject to late diagnoses, which put them at an increased risk of serious health conditions or even death. At an alarming rate, Medicaid patients are filling the Emergency Departments with disadvantaged or untreatable conditions. “In fact, research has shown that Medicaid and CHIP patients end up in emergency rooms even more frequently than uninsured patients” (Dayaratna, 2012, p. 13). Research goes to prove that Medicaid patients are underprivileged when compared to privately insured…

It is worth setting up DHCP for two, five, or even twenty five computers as long as they have updated software to support it. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol is very important protocol in networking because DHCP let network administrators manage centrally and automate the assignment of IP configurations on a computer network. The importance of DHCP is because when connected to a network every computer will be assigned a unique address which is the IP address so there is a need to automate the task. Now how does the DHCP works? The way DHCP works is that the DHCP server receives the request from the client and the DHCP server assigns a new address for a specific time period and sends it to the client together with the other required configuration information. DHCP server will not reallocate the address during this period and will attempt to return the same address every time the clients request an address. I would personally think that setting up DHCP for your computers is worth doing it just because it has its advantages over manual configuration. Some of the advantages include that each computer gets its configuration from a pool of available numbers automatically for a specific time period which means that there are no wasted numbers. The IP address is then released after the computer has finished with the address and it is then released for another computer to use. In contrast, manual configuration can be time consuming and might be prone to errors. In manual configuration, it requires the careful input of a subnet mask, unique IP address, Domain name Server Address, and default router address. Servers offer completely centralized management of all TCP/IP client configurations, including IP address and DNS address is another great thing about DHCP. Also, DHCP servers are easy to administer and can be set up in a minimal time.…
