Artificial Intelligence Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the area of computer science focusing on creating machines that can engage on behaviors that humans consider intelligent. The ability to create intelligent machines has intrigued humans since ancient times, and today with the advent of the computer and 50 years of research into AI programming techniques, the dream of smart machines is becoming a reality. Researchers are creating systems which can mimic human thought, understand speech. Find out how in the near future Artificial Intelligence may impact our lives, and the pros and cons of having Artificial Intelligence in our futures. And what is the history and different branches of AI?

So really how far are we from reaching human-level thinking with Artificial Intelligence? Right now we have Artificial Intelligence systems that have the intelligence level of a puppy. It is a robotic arm that can perform quite simple tasks. I know that a puppy doesn’t seem very intelligent, but it should not be underestimated. Right now we have Artificial Intelligence that is beyond the intelligence of a puppy but it is still under construction. Michael Felsburg is one of the researchers on the forefront of AI research and this is what he has to
