Initial Counseling
Job Title, Education, Financial Readiness, Promotion, Barracks Maintenance and Physical Fitness

Key Points of Discussion

SPC________ , this is your initial counseling. The purpose of this counseling is to inform you of what I expect from you and to touch on some basic areas that will be followed up on, on monthly counseling’s. While here at work you are to do _________________________________. If you have any question or concerns about how to do something please don't hesitate to ask me.

EDUCATION: I encourage you to enroll in correspondence courses and college, if not already enrolled. Enrollment in these two areas will not only better your career in the military, but it will also better your opportunities in the future after you retire or get out of the military.

FINANCIAL READINESS: Currently I am unaware of any financial issues that you may have. If you do have any issues come see me, so we can get you the right help.

PROMOTION: SPC __________, at the current time you are not promotable and are unavailable for promotion due to pending actions. However; I want you to get a study guide and begin studying. I will possibly be sending you to the board when the investigation is over. Therefore, I am telling you now, you have ample time to prepare yourself and should have no reason why you are not ready.

BARRACKS: It is mandatory that you maintain a clean and sanitary living quarter. Alcohol in the barracks is permitted, but only one 12 pack, or 1 bottle of liquor. No Soju is authorized in the barracks at any time. Visitation is as followed:
-Visitors will enter through the main door and sign in at the CQ desk
-No one under the age of 18 is authorized in the barracks at any time for any reason
-Visitation hours: Duty days before duty days 1700-2200 Duty days before Non duty days 1700-0200 Non-Duty days before Non-Duty days 1000- 0200 Non-Duty days before duty days 1000-2200.I will be

    The marines have been around for 238 years and 5 months, they were born on November 10th, 1775 in Tun Tavern, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Because of their boot camp training in either in parries island, South Carolina or in San Diego, California. The training is 3 months and 2 weeks long.
