Anthropology Uses a Holistic Approach to Explain All Aspects of Human Beliefs, Behavior, and Biology. Explain the Meaning of "Holistic" as It Applies to Anthropology and Illustrate How Researchers Incorporate This Idea

"Holistic"-incorporating the concept of holism in theory or practice. researchers incorporate this concept into their work because it help with an "eyes wide open" point of view, to see all different types of religions, cultures, practices across the world that way they don’t have an ethnocentrism point of view of things. This ties in with forensic anthropology, physical anthropology, paleoanthropology, primatology, cultural anthropology, linguistic anthropology, and archaeology, all to answer some of the simple questions where did we come from? Why do we act in certain ways? Using the holistic approach to these simple question allows us to not be narrow minded or be on a one way track of thinking. As an example say a man was found and had no memory of who he was or where he came from but was dressed very conservatively. Some people might look at him and think "ok he's a Caucasian male, with money" but due to a holistic approach to forensic anthropology they could test chemical traces on his clothes to give a geological are of where he’s from. A linguistic anthropologist could give a language/ cultural back round, as well as a physical anthropologist could show how the man grew up and live. Maybe he had a hard rough life growing up, or could tell how his growth and development had been effected due to living conditions. To me this concept of a holistic approach to anthropology is the lifelong lesson of "don't judge a book by its cover" look deeper, understand, and don't be bias and have an open
