Animal farm
An old pig named Old Major suddenly realizes that animals in farm are being exploited by their boss and animals deserve to have a free and better life than now. But this great idea is changed and distorted by other young pigs then. After pig lead successfully other animals to get freedom from their boss, pigs give power for themselves to rule all other animals and inherit privilege from animals. Pigs live in a comfortable condition with good food and drink while other animals have to work hard and miserably for public career. In the dream of freedom, independence and happiness, animals live more miserable than before with their boss and they also have to do following crazy ideas of pigs. To keeping their power, pigs write rules which is advantaged for themselves, make a group of cruel dogs to kill and oppress other animals who have different opinions with pigs and pig always try to lie other animals in their thinking.
I highly recommend my book to anyone who wants to have a deeper view and thinking about change of society in periods of history. Animal farm really is an interesting novel to read. It teaches how the life and people in a new society can be better while everything is built on lie at all. The book make us have to think and realize that everyone are just equal while nobody is above law. Metaphors and satire and the setting through the book make an extremely well written.
Firstly, I like satire in the book when pigs try to fix rules in their ways to get advantages for themselves in Animal farm, the rules are replaced with "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others", and "Four legs good, two legs better" as the pigs become more human. That is a good way to show that it is normal and natural while power concentrate so much on few animals and make them become loss of control oneself and corrupt. My another favorite part is the setting of the book, they take place at a farm in England, and the book will have no meaning and the

When I read Animal Farm, I realized that it’s not the type of book that I would typically read although I do like historical novels. Animal Farm portrays dictatorship in Soviet Russia. In that way, Animal Farm is a great learning resource. I would have preferred it if the novel’s characters were human beings instead of animals. Also, I found it a bit challenging for me to read old English and having to stop and look for words meanings. Additionally, I thought that the writing style of Animal Farm wasn’t very engaging to read, I didn’t feel hooked to the book while reading. I feel that Animal Farm wasn’t a very satisfying book to read.…

In the Russian Revolution, blood purges can be defined as the elimination of Joseph Stalin’s opposition or anyone who criticized or opposed the Bolsheviks. Stalin believed that he was threatened by the people inside Russia who disliked him or the government. The purges were not planned at all and were random. Victims of them included anyone who had sympathy, acquaintance, or association with the Trotskyites (the enemy), or anyone who doubted or opposed Stalin’s government. Stalin would hunt down any person who was even the slightest bit suspicious (The Great Purges 1 and 3).…

The first thing that the animals changed about the farm is the name. They changed the name of the farm from Manor farm, to Animal farm. They all learn the song "beasts of England" that Old major had taught them before the rebellion. They have also made up 7 commandments that all animals on the farm must live by. They use the phrase "four legs good, two legs bad," to remember the 7 commandments. They use this because not all animals on the farm can read, but sense the rebellion a lot of them have learned, or have learned few letters of the alphabet. The pigs can read and write perfectly. They have made the majority of animals to believe that they are the most intelligent animals on the farm, so they should be in charge. Instead of Mr. Jones telling the animals what to do, the pigs make the decisions. All the animals are happy because they get to live their lives without the humans. The animals work for the pigs without questioning their authority. They are happy because the pigs watch as the hard working animals (like boxer for example) does all the work. Boxer now believes that Napoleon is always right, so he does whatever he wishes. Some animals decide to leave the farm (Molly for example), but most animals have stayed loyal to the farm and put forward a lot of hard work and dedication.…

After the animals take over the farm, three pigs named Napoleon, Snowball, and Squealer become the new rulers of the farm and create a new society, or way of life for the farm animals. The pigs not only create a new society, but they create a society that surpases the effiecency of the society of the farm animals when they were under Mr. Jones’ rule. portrays the theme of abuse of power. When the pigs declare themselves leaders if animal farm, they say that they will run a proper, equal farm. Josef Stalin abused his power as leader of Russia. Yet, the pigs prove that power is too much for them. They start taking advantage of the other animals. They started corrupting small things at first then they realized that they could not be stopped so they took full advantage of the animals. “Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs? The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.” This quote shows how the pigs started out by running an animal friendly farm, but eventually they began to resemble the corrupt leaders they revolted against.…
