Analyzing Theories Of Edgar Allen Poe's Death
There are many different theories on the author Edgar Allen Poe’s death. The theories go from drugs to alcohol, to brain tumors, to suicide. There is different evidence on the theories, but no one will ever know the real cause.

The first of many theories is the drugs and alcohol, it's thought that these were huge influences his life. Poe used drugs as a literary device to help think up his stories. He had written a letter to Annie Richmond confirming his attempt of an overdose.

The second theory that we will discuss is suicide. His stories were thought to be strange and dark. He wrote the talking of depression, he tried a drug overdose.

The last theory is that he died of a brain tumor. Poe was dug up from his grave, and examined. The doctors

The Smithsonian Magazine states that Poe had a high intolerance to alcohol, so the reward given to him by the gang members likely influenced his death.
