Course Description
This course introduces the concepts, tools, and first principles of strategy formulation and competitive analysis. It is concerned with managerial decisions and actions that materially affect the success and survival of business enterprises. The course focuses on the information, analyses, organizational processes, skills, and business judgment managers must use to design strategies, position their businesses and assets, and define firm boundaries, to maximize long-term profits in the face of uncertainty and competition. Marketing, Organizational Behavior, and Statistics. However, it is much more than a mere integration of the functional specialties within a firm.

This point of view is the best vantage point for making decisions that affect long run business performance. The
