The perspective of Christians have on addictions are that they should not be let in to gods kingdom. In multiple sections of the bible it referenced people that are addicted to alcohol or “given to much wine” as “drunkards” (1 Timothy 3:3) or “heavy drinkers” (1 Timothy 3:8). People that are addicted to substances like alcohol and drugs are not allowed to run churches because they want people to lead by example.
