1. In my opinion this film is titled Boys Don’t Cry because boys are given the stereotype that they are not allowed to show emotion and need to be tough. Brandon Teena is a female to male transgender. Brandon took on his true self and became whole heartedly a man. With this he had to fit the male stereotype. He became tough and joked like he was one of the guys. There was a scene in the movie where all the guys were holding onto the back of a pickup truck driving in circles until they flew off. Brandon

The book warriors don’t cry‚ I have to write an essay about it and other stuff about this girl named Melba‚ who is Melba you ask it is a girl that is from 1956 about her going to a school that’s segregated. As well as she’s a girl from little rock 9 high school she’s black and a bunch of racist people bullied her for being black. Along with the moral of the story is finding strength. The way I could compare it to my life is by pretty much the skate life trying to commit to something. Scary or big

“Cowgirls Don’t Cry” The song I chose to analyze was “Cowgirls Don’t Cry” by Brooks and Dunn. This song’s lyrics really speaks to me because I was always told this when I was younger and I rode my horse. My Aunt would always tell me‚ “If you fall or get thrown‚ brush it off and Cowgirl up don’t you cry and get back in that saddle.” At first the tone is strong like the father was being towards the daughter telling her that “Cowgirls Don’t Cry”. Then as the lyrics go further on the tone changes

Many parents‚ when faced with the teenage years and teenage musical tastes‚ buy their child a headset and hope that their child’s hearing will survive the next ten years. (The generation gap can often be measured in decibels!) And yet‚ while schools provide the counterbalance to popular reading matter with good literature and a talkshow view of contemporary society with courses on history and current events‚ it is left to parents
