    While having the option to read the novel‚ The Cay or watch the movie‚ The Cay I would rather read the book. I believe the book‚ by Theodore Taylor‚ is better because of the fact that there is far more details of the adventure that Phillip and Timothy had in the book than in the movie‚ produced by Walter Seltzer.
