Rhetorical‚ as defined by Merriam-Webster‚ is “Of‚ relating to‚ or concerned with the art of speaking or writing formally and effectively especially as a way to persuade or influence people.” The definition is an accurate one and explains what it is often used for: to persuade or influence another.
