Frankiln Scaffner’s Planet of the Apes (1968) is an epic science fiction film that stars the late Charlston Heston. The film begins as a group of Astronauts led by Taylor (Heston) in the would-be present crash land and end up on a seemingly alien planet a few thousand years into the future‚ via suspended animation.
