shorts are 6 inches and not mid-thigh you can be dress coded; also if you shorts are mid-thigh and not 6 inches you can again be dress coded. I believe it is unfair because it gets to the point of you not knowing if the shorts are in dress code that you have to wear jeans all year even when its 100 degrees out side.
