    A system for controlling whole populations is very bad. Although the two books Divergent and The Giver are very different‚ they also have a few similarities‚ which I will point out. In Divergent and The Giver‚ there is a lot of control exerted by the different governments. In both books‚ there is not much freedom of choice. While there is a little more freedom of choice in Divergent‚ individuals have to follow the faction rules. In The Giver‚ there is pretty much zero‚ zilch (A.K.A 0) choice.
