The United States has had a troubled history with North Korea stemming from the beginning of the cold-war and continuing into the current age where tensions still exist. They are the self-claimed longest and most threatening adversaries to the United States. In response to this North Korea has been subjected to relentless amounts of sanctions and international pressure.
