A 24-year-old male presents to the trauma bay of an emergency department after being struck as a pedestrian by a car. Upon arrival‚ his Glasgow consciousness scale (GCS) is 15 and the patient is hemodynamically stable. Examination reveals left lower leg deformity with a 1 cm overlying skin wound.
