Method Analysis Paper Option 6
The first five student learning outcomes listed on the syllabus focus on evaluating, understanding, and analyzing components of research, ranging from research ethics to research measurement. The methods analysis papers each serve to assist students in these five learning objectives. There are six method analysis papers in this class. You are only required to complete three of the method analysis papers. Should you choose to complete more than three of the six method analysis papers, the three papers with the highest grades will count toward your final grade. Although each paper is extremely different in content, basic formatting requirements are the same: each methods analysis paper should be typed, double-spaced, and use 12-point font.
Use 1’’ margins on all sides. All papers that are done well should be between 6-8 pages in length, though some students can successfully lay out their papers in fewer pages and others take more than 8 pages. Papers should be turned in electronically to Blackboard. Be sure to compose all methods analysis papers as Word documents and save as “.doc” or “.docx” files when turning in for evaluation. The due date of each methods analysis paper is listed with the description. Note: the instructor will stop assisting with paper development 24 weekday hours before the assignment is due. All methods papers are due at the start of class on their due date.
