I was told by you that you are a licensed real estate broker, and was under the impression that you would be able to sell my home in a professional manner. You have proved to me that you do not posses the ability to properly sell my home. This is a serious matter and you have breached your duties that we had a clear agreement about. Some reasons why I believe you have failed to complete you responsibilities are you told potential buyers that Abraham Lincoln lived in the house once, when actually only one of Lincoln’s distant cousins stayed there for a day. Also, you told the people that were looking at the house to put in lowball offers around 80% of the actual list price, and said the reason was because Sonia told you confidentially that she had a drug addiction and needed the money to pay for rehab. Then you took a deposit and put it into your personal account which makes it look like your trying to pocket extra money. You lied about selling 10 houses in the past three months in the same area as Sonia's when this is truthfully not the case. Another point I'd like to bring up is how you represented your self in such an un professional way that made it look like selling the home was a joke. You showed to Open houses Smelling like alcohol, wearing flip-flops and a T-shirt, and while you were supposed to be assisting people around the home you just decided to watch TV instead. Another day you took clients to view the house in an old beat up truck. You even made unfair calls to ignore prospects with section 8 housing assistance telling them, "This is not a welfare house for sale." when Sonia didn't agree to such act.…

The most basic definition for real estate is "an interest in land". Broadening that definition somewhat, the word "interest" can mean either an ownership interest (also known as a fee-simple interest) or a leasehold interest. In an ownership interest, the investor is entitled to the full rights of ownership of the land (for example, to legally use and transfer the title of the land/property), and must also assume the risks and responsibilities of a landowner (for example, any losses as a result of natural disasters and the obligation to pay property taxes). On the other side of the relationship, a leasehold interest only exists when a landowner agrees to pass some of his rights on to a tenant in exchange for a payment of rent. If you rent an apartment, you have a leasehold interest in real estate. If you own a home, you have an ownership interest in that home. Some jurisdictions recognize other interests beyond these two, such as a life estate, but those interests are less common in the investment arena. A real estate investment trust (REIT) is a closed-end investment company that owns assets related to real estate such as buildings, land and real estate securities. REITs sell on the major stock market exchanges just like common stock.…
