Many potential issues were avoided due to fact that Lindsey’s parents were such advocates for her educational needs. By investing so much time and effort into Lindey’s homework needs, her parents were able to help keep her on track in organized for school. Furthermore, because Lindsey was placed in a special school where her teachers were educated properly on how to successfully instruct and accommodate students with such needs, Lindeys was able to take away much more from school due to the fact that she was given proper support and guidance once put in the hands of supporting teachers. Over the last four years, Ryan has been respectful and caring towards staff and pupil and was on target in all subjects. It’s important to identify the need for additional support as early as possible without it the children will not get the help they need at the right time and this could have an affect on the child’s well being. You must get the parents permission for any child to be referred and keep them well informed. The world is well aware with these terms stated above- stereotypes, prejudice, and discriminate. These three terms are used to further create inequality between people based on their inner and outer characteristics. Specifically the inequallities which are most common are based on races or gender. Being a stereotype means to generate an oversimplified representation of a particular type of a person. This type of an act is superficial and can lead to prejudice, buy thinking that information gathered by sterotypes is suffice you become prejudice and thus naïve and judgemental.When you make judgmets you automatically discriminate. In a nutshell. Stereotyping leads to prejudice, which ultimately leads to dicrimination. However, every individual is different, and just because they have similarites or differences with others doesn't directly mean they're exactly like them. At this conference, the National Group for Classification of Nursing Diagnosis was founded; this group was later renamed the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA). In 1984, NANDA established a Diagnosis Review Committee (DRC) to develop a process for reviewing and approving proposed changes to the list of nursing diagnoses.
