Pentecost is important to Jews and Christians but for different reasons. For Jews it is a holiday and it is a historical importance but for Christians it makes the beginning of the Christians church and it marks the coming of the Holy Spirit.

The Pentecost festival is all that the church has been talking about since the Passover.
Pentecost means the fiftieth so that means that Pentecost is fifty days after the Passover and the resurrection of our Lord and God Jesus Christ , Pentecost is 50 days after Easter and 10 days after the ascension of Jesus . On the day of the Pentecost the Holy Spirit descended on the disciple of Christ.
The Pentecost festival is this year may 19th 2013. The Pentecost festival is all that the church has been talking about since the Passover.
