My party Flyer Created for Computer Applications Class in Everest University.
We had To create a Flyer inviting people to a party and explain how we created it. We had to make it catchy, attractive, and interesting. Then we had to explain how we did it. As well as what tools and features we thought were the most helpful. We also had to include what the different ways they could be used.•What tools or functionalities in Microsoft Word do you think are most helpful when creating a Party Invitation Flyer?
I found the tools word art, clip art, and Background formatting to be the most helpful in creating my party flyer. I believe that they help to make the flyer more interesting. When you are making a flyer, you want to make it to where it gets the attention of the reader as well as interests them enough to want to come.
•What problems did you encounter when creating the Flyer?
I didn't really have to many problems in the creating of my flyer. However I did struggle with one part. I had a hard time trying to make my picture for my background light enough so that the words on my flyer stood out. I finally had to go edit my picture some where else then reattach it as my background in my flyer. I personally prefer to make my flyers in PowerPoint but I found making it in word is to bad and that it can be done.
•What are some other ways that you can use the tools you learned about in Word?
I believe that there are many ways to use everyone of the tool word provides. For example, picture can be used to insert a background, adding pictures to your documents, or even just to create a border. Another good example would be word art. Word art can be used to make your title more creative and attractive or it can be used to create a watermark. WordArt lets you do things such as skewing, shadowing, rotating, and stretching in a variety of shapes and colors. You can even include three- dimensional effects.
