Whispered goodbye and she got on a plane
Never to return again
But always in my heart
CHORUS: (the part of the song that gets repeated a lot and sticks in your head, also called “the hook” because it hooks you in)
This love has taken it’s toll on me
She said goodbye too many times before
And her heart is breaking in front of me
I have no choice cause I won’t say goodbye anymore
VERSE 2: (same music as Verse 1 but different words)
I tried my best to feed her appetite
Keep her coming every night
So hard to keep her satisfied
Kept playing love like it was just a game
Pretending to feel the same
Then turn around and leave again
CHORUS: (same music, same words as previous Chorus
This love has taken it’s toll on me

Peterson’s uses a variety of situation and scenarios to support a theory called the “flat brain theory of emotion.” Basically the author theorizes that emotion, both positive and negative, delay communication thus shaping relationships. According to Peterson we communicate using our stomach, heart, and brain. Each one affects the ability to recognize what is really happening during communication. He gives examples of how emotions outweighing each other and how they affect our vision, responses, and how we listen. On April 12, 2017 I attended a dinner at Case Martinez along with the deaf community. Thank you for allowing us to have this time out of class for extra credit. Unlike, my other experience at Pie Fie I was not able to sit at the same time with the rest of the group due to the fact that I got off of work until 5:20 & this event started at 5:30. During this experience I was able to observe a lot. The waitress as Case Martinez have menu cards made for the deaf community. The waitress handed out note cards with the entrée listed on it to make the ordering process easier. Basically, when they were ready to order they just gave her a 2 note cards, one was the dinner entrée and the other was the side. The only issue I could see with this method is…

He talks about early Christianity, especially the writing of Saint Augustine, British empiricism, especially the writing of John Locke, and the varieties of nineteenth century from mesmerism through psychical research (pg63). He explains that the spiritual view of communication rests on a vision of the self as an eternal, self-identical soul whose nature is not affected by its embodiment, and claims that communication involves establishing some identity between two souls (pg 65). Saint Augustine claimed that the best communication is the divine communication between God and angels and human communication is not completed because there is words and sounds involved because a perfect communication doesn’t need any medium.…

Over the course of the semester I have learned and grown remarkably in my listening and leaderships skills. EDPS 315 has been an extremely beneficial course over the semester and one of the most important classes that I have taken thus far in my educational career. Going into the course I did not think that it would have made this much of an impact on my life but I have seen myself grown as a person more in this class than any of my other courses. Unlike my other classes that are specifically directed to my major, like chemistry and biology classes, that teach you book smarts, this class has taught me important street smart skills that are applicable in my professional and personal relationships. Over the course of the semester I have seen…
