I agree that marijuana should be
Question: Marijuana was legalized in Denver Colorado. Do you believe it should be legalize in other parts of the world, including Jamaica? Agree or disagree.
The Jamaican government was stupid first of all to follow the United States of America (U.S.A) and not legalize Marijuana (Ganja) and is now in a state of lacking men which promotes homosexuality and is forced to legalize it just like the U.S.A. statistical data has proven that of every five (5) men approximately two (2) is locked up (*behind bars) for the possession of Ganja. I have never heard of a car accident or any accident at all where persons involved were under the influence of Ganja but rather under the influence of the legal drug alcohol. Who would legalize something so harmful such as alcohol but not legalize marijuana which is completely harmless? I am high right now and I am not causing any trouble but I bet you that if I were drunk I would have created havoc. If ganja is legalized it will cause a decrease in the crime rate as most poor persons get their source of income from selling it.
The great Carl Jung said, “the choices one makes depicts the person they truly are.” Out of legalizing ganja which is completely harmless and not legalizing it which promotes homosexuality which is obviously in violation of citizens and the creator’s laws the government. I think all those countries including Jamaica chose not to legalize ganja but to promote homosexuality is for the benefit of themselves. They need to understand that their sexual path of choice is not that of everyone.
Be honest my fellow citizens, have you ever heard/seen an accident in which a “participant” was under the influence of ganja? The persons involved are more likely to be under the influence of alcohol which is legal. How ridiculous? The government has alcohol still legal even though they see the destruction it has impacted on the people. The government once again proves that it cares not about its people. Legalizing alcohol is

I personally still don’t know why we are still having a war against this. There is no reported case of dying from over dose of pot. It concerns me that any person can sit on their couch and take a simple bottle or vodka, gin, or Jack Daniels and die within the hour, especially when they’re driving or operating machinery. When one is drunk, they lose control of their body and mind; when one is high, they sit on the couch and eat Cheetos and fall asleep afterwards. What harm is there in that? Like any substance marijuana can be abused, but it is nearly impossible to overdose on. I don’t mean nearly impossible as a challenge, in the article “Marijuana” from drugfactsweek.drugabuse.gov, it states “If you mean can they overdose and die from marijuana--the answer is no, it’s not very likely.” The most common problem associated with marijuana abuse is sluggish behavior, but does not cause serious health issues. Overuse of alcohol will result in an inability to walk, stand, dehydration, blurry vision, profuse vomiting, impaired judgment, and even death, whereas an “overdose” of marijuana will simply put a person to sleep. According to an article from, edgarsnyder.com/drunkdriving “3 in 10 teenagers will be in involved in an alcohol related…

Marijuana has been illegal since 1937. The Marijuana Tax Act, enforced because people believe men of color would solicit sex from white women while under the influence of marijuana. According to multiple tests and the statistics more people have died from cigarettes and alcohol. Marijuana should be legal due to the shear fact that it is safer than alcohol and cigarettes. Marijuana to this day, after 79 years, in some places is still illegal and believed to be more dangerous than cigarettes. This myth is 100% false. About 6 million people die every year from smoking cigarettes including second hand smoke. Statistics show that by 2030 the annual death rate will be 8 million. compare this to virtually nobody dying from a direct cause of Marijuana smoking the numbers are gradually in favor of Marijuana being safer. In fact it takes a consumption of 15 pounds of Marijuana in 15 minutes to “overdose”, which still may not even be fatal. In the film Super High Me,…

And marijuana is nowhere near as bad for you as cigarettes and alcohol, both of which are legal. Overdosing on alcohol can kill you, as can the drug’s withdrawal symptoms (it’s a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don’t sort of thing). The Center for Disease Control attributes around 37,000 deaths every year to alcohol (not including accidental…

Marijuana is the most commonly used illegal substance in United States and in many other countries; this is a statement that seems to be in each article that is written about the legalization of marijuana. This is a subject that has been up for debate for quite a few years now. There are many people who support the legalization of this drug and are strongly convinced that marijuana is not a drug in which one should be punished for, but rather a drug that should not be frowned upon and seen as a way to help our nation economically and medically. On the other end, there are also many people who support the criminalization of marijuana and believe it is a drug that should remain illegal or else further use of the drug may increase and become dangerous. There was a time in history when the use of marijuana was quite popular until it became illegal, like many other substances, it did not stop people from using. The question still remains, should marijuana be legalized? Throughout this writing piece, information regarding different views and opinions on the legalization of marijuana will be presented, along with positive and negative effects this would have on our nation economically and medically.…

Many people ask the question why tobacco and alcohol are legal and marijuana is not? People believe that smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol do not cause addiction and dependence instead of marijuana but this is a wrong thought. The fact that a person consumes 20 cigarettes a day makes them addicts because their bodies are so use to nicotine that is a pleasure and a necessity to smoke. It is clear that alcohol is bad for health when it is consumed in high quantities and it also cause addiction and dependence in the substance as well as any other drug. That is why in a certain point of view it is illogical that marijuana is not legal when the other killing products are in the market being sold daily. It is known that marijuana has secondary effects such as hallucinations, rapid heartbeat, death of brain neurons in a short-term period and that is why government believe that legalization would be a big step for the world to change in a bad way and have a high level of consumers addicted to drugs.…

Marijuana is the growing topic in Americans daily lives; shockingly people are blind to realize that this substance will probably be one of the deadliest drugs in the next decade. “History repeats itself” a wise man once said, and this isn’t the first time or the last time America will use the excuses to make illegal substances that kill. The generations of the 20th century where blind and medically illiterate to the dangers of cigarettes in fact they believed it was health approved. Japan’s history with relation to marijuana is different than in the United States. Prior to occupation by US forces, nearly 200,000 farm households cultivated hemp (Fulford 2003). It was not until the US imposed anti-narcotic laws that Japan faced issues of legal/illegal debate. During WWII, Japanese Imperial Army soldiers were allowed to smoke marijuana to ease the stress of battle. The smoke of the marijuana plant also held spiritual values in some religious ceremonies. In 2003, Yasunao Nakayama was approved to cultivate marijuana for experimental and commercial purposes. In fact, at the time of the article, his vehicle was powered by hemp oil. While the country’s roots include the acceptable…

For several years in the United States there has been a controversy on should Marijuana be legalized or not. I find this topic very interesting because I know a lot of information. Most people think that Marijuana is a gateway drug. In my opinion, Marijuana is the safest drug in the world. For the first time in history, Marijuana is legalized in a few states. It is a safe drug because doctors can prescribe it to people and that they have the option to smoke it if they have cancer. The thing that gets me mad is that alcohol is legal and Marijuana is illegal.…

Marijuana is a relatively risk-free drug that governments throughout in the world have made illegal. If legalized, marijuana can be helpful to society in many ways. Whether it be for medical, financial, or public security reasons. Marijuana has been proven to treat numerous life hindering, and even life intimidating diseases. Although it is not a remedy, marijuana can ease the discomfort and suffering of a dying person. Another benefit of legalization is the financial gains that governments will accomplish through the taxation of marijuana. This is a realistic claim if marijuana sales are compared to that of cigarettes; governments make billions each year from cigarette taxes. Every year law enforcement spends countless man-hours trying to…

Yet, our government has nothing to show from it, only the price of preventing it. Even though drunk drivers are killing people all over the country, alcohol has not been prohibited since 1933 (Beckett). Health-related costs for alcohol consumers are eight times greater than those for marijuana consumers, according to an assessment recently published in the British Columbia Mental Health and Addictions Journal (Beckett). Cigarettes are very addictive and have many chemicals, but completely legal. Marijuana is completely organic unlike cigarettes and is less addictive. Prohibition is outdated and needs to be ended.…

The easiest way to compare these two drugs is to look at the amount of fatalities linked to driving under the influence of alcohol to that of marijuana.…
