To me Human Capital Management is the process of researching, analyzing, and reporting data for employees that would add value to the company. HCM believes that employees are looked at as assets to the company and not just a resource, but seen as an actual "human," per say. HCM provides employees the necessary tools to continually improve their career. In other words, the employee is not set up to fail without choosing to do so themselves. HCM clearly defines their expectations of each employee and is consistent with their communication. In a sense they provide a bridge between HR and business strategy.…

One of the main roles of an HR department is managing current employees. Unlike managers who directly oversee the employees' day-to-day work, the HR department deals with concerns such as benefits, pay, company policies and training. Among the benefits that might be handled by the HR department are insurance plans, paid vacations, paid leave for illnesses and other health matters, pension plans and employee investments. The HR department also might settle conflicts between employees or between employees and their managers as well as grievances filed against the company by employees.…
The human resources aid I have provided to the human resources department (HRD) are directed at giving the human resources department(HRD) a detail look into what kind of recruits my department is looking for in new employees. The aids I have provided in this document give a detail look into the role of the mortgage processor on how our management staff would like for the human resources department to hire and train new employees for the role of mortgage processors. The minimum requirements that we are looking for will be clearly defined that way the best suited recruiters will be hired. I feel that my aids will also help to ensure that new employees understand what kind of behavior will be expected from them and what their responsibilities’ and expectations are. It will also be the human resources department role to explain benefits and incentives to the new employees so that the new employees are optimistic about their new employment. By working hand in hand with management and the human resources department in hiring and training new employees we will also be working towards meeting the company’s goals and will be more cost efficient.…
