The Mona Lisa

“The Mona Lisa that has influenced the way I view the world and myself, and a description of itself”

This essay I will describe the Mona Lisa, its influence on the world and me. In order to do this I will first describe the Mona Lisa in an aesthetic and historic term. Next I will describe the ways that has influenced my view of the world. Finally I will discuss how it will affect my life and me.
The first thing is to describe the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is one of the most famous paintings in the world. The Mona Lisa is also known as la Gioconda, La Joconde, or portrait of Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo (Jules). She appears to be calm. With her folded hands and glowing face she appears to be smiling.
The famous portrait was painted by the Italian Leonardo da Vinci. It’s perhaps the most famous piece of art in the world. It is located at the Museé du Louvre in Paris. It was painted around 1503 and 1519 (Jules).
Now I am going to describe the ways that has influenced my view of the world. The Mona Lisa has influenced many painters around the world in many ways. It also has influenced me in how I see the world. One of the ways that has caught my attention is its history. Art give us joy. It also helps us to see the world in a different way. Another way that has influenced me is how the Mona Lisa has been conserved. Surviving more than 500 years. Its mystery that revolves around is what it kept me thinking many things. A piece of art like this should be preserved forever. Now I am more open about other paintings that share a similar value and to care about art.
Finally I am going to discuss how the Mona Lisa has changed my life and me. Well the Mona Lisa is my favorite paintings of all time. Because of its value to humanity it is important to preserve it. As an art student I believe studying the history of the Mona Lisa will help me understand art.

    The original artwork of the Mona Lisa was painted on a wood known as poplar wood. The Mona Lisa is an admirable work of art, due to every detail being exemplified within the painting itself.
