Factors that contribute to a good movie. Nowadays, watching movies is one of the most favored past time of people both young and old alike. There are many genres to choose from that could fit your taste such as comedy, action, romance, horror, thriller, drama, suspense, etc. From all the movies that have been made, some of them have really captured their audience while others totally drove them away. When it comes to me, I generally believe that movies must be privileged by some special factors such as storyline, casting and emotional impact.
First of all, I think, to have a good movie is that you have a good story, a very moving plot and a great script. There are movies that really can open our eyes to the truths around us and there are others that don’t teach us any lesson at all. A storyline of a movie must be up to date and can cater for the people’s interest. For example, viewers nowadays prefer to watch action movies. When a director produces a film, he must consider this factor in order to insure that he can produce a movie that is satisfying and enjoying to the viewers.
Second, of course if there’s a great script there must also be actors. We need good actors to make a good movie. Actors, who can justify the characters and make them, come alive in front of the audience. They must be able to portray the characters well so that people say that the characters are made keeping them in mind. They should blend themselves into the characters. As an instance, when going for watching movie, I first ask myself who the actors playing in this movie are. Definitely, a good movie should give the real feeling to its audiences at home or to the movie-goers and obviously the expert actors give an outstanding performance in film.
The third and the most important factor of good movie is emotional impact. A movie absolutely has to make me feel something. Whether it's fear, laughter, whatever it might be. It has to get to me on an emotional level. A movie might possibly be

Films that I particularly favor are thrillers. One reason Thrillers become so enjoyable for me, a sense of diversion is created making the viewers more indulge in the movie all the way to the ending. The plots are usually twisted, climatic, suspenseful and intelligence is often use far as the writing perspective to result in an ecliptic viewing of the movie. A really great thriller will usually bring a shock factor by the climax, then the movie will receive a better understanding from the beginning to end. Another genre of films I enjoy are Musicals they are fashionable and express emotions through singing. I am really into lyricism so I enjoy comparing the actual expression of the each character's individual story and the progression…

Before really thinking about the subject, some obvious traits of what I would consider "an excellent film" would be superior acting, beautiful scenery, etc., such as many present categories in the Academy or Golden Globe Awards. Of course I could go on about one of my all-time favorite movies, Titanic, which I paid to see in the theater about seven times in two weeks. It won 11 Oscars out of 14 nominations (Best Picture, Directing, Cinematography, Art Direction, Original Song, Film Editing, Original Dramatic Score, Visual Effects, Sound Effects Editing, Sound, and Costume Design), which was especially uncommon. The only other time that this had happened was in the 1950's, for Ben Hur. These definitely have something to do with what makes an excellent film, but I also believe that the personal connection and emotions that someone has with a film is just as important.…

In truth, most good movies have a unified plot, a credible storyline, and are interesting. The genre or style of a movie will also play a role in a person’s opinion of what he or she considers to be a good movie. Some people prefer movies that are full of action, drama, comedy, romance, or fantasy. Many people enjoy a movie that has a message or a moral of the story, which may give the audience a deeper meaning of what the movie is really about. All of these are examples of interwoven parts that work together to create a good movie. The movie Willow (Howard, 1988) is an excellent example of a movie that incorporated several different literary elements in a way that it created a movie that will probably be remembered throughout the years. Overall, a good movie is not limited to the set design, the actors, or the script, but has so many other elements that when interwoven together, create memorable masterpiece for all to see.…
