Bangladesh should be part of a well-crafted national strategy and “Digital Bangladesh”, needs to be the cornerstone strategy for Bangladesh. We have to build a people-centered, development-oriented Information Society, where everyone would be able to access, utilize and share information and knowledge easily and efficiently.
The concept of Digital Bangladesh is centered on the creation of what is popularly termed as a "knowledge based society,". Information and communication technologies (ICTs) are a critical component for building this knowledge-society. Our ability in creating and disseminating knowledge will eventually drive the nation’s growth in the coming days. A digital society ensures an ICT driven knowledge-based society where information will be readily available online and where all possible tasks of the government, semi-government and also private spheres will be processed using state of the art technology. In order to create an innovative society, the education system must be first targeted. An innovative cycle of university-industry relationship should be developed with digital coordination and resource-sharing.
The Main of the mission of the University is to foster national development through creation of knowledge based society by providing proper knowledge to the learners of this institution. In the context of rapidly changing socio-economic conditions and the opportunities arising out of free market economy our intention is to provide contemporary practical –based knowledge with the help of Information technology and Telecommunication Technology for our people. For this, the most promising paradigms for this mission is to use E-learning and M-learning as the learning method. E-learning is commonly referred to the intentional use of networked information and communications
