I am hard working, enthusiastic person. I enjoy meeting and working with new people and working in situations and environments which are challenging. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I am punctual and was very rarely late or absent from school with my attendance averaging over 94% throughout my whole school career.
The skills I would bring to the work place would be my ability to meet and greet customers. I am a confident articulate person. I enjoy working as part of a team and will take directions and will carry out instructions thoroughly.
Since a young age I have been taking part in many different extracurricular activities. I am currently playing soccer in the Northern Irish premier league for Linfield FC, I played for Glenavon FC for seven seasons before making the transfer. In my time at Glenavon, I won two Mid-Ulster cups and two young player of the year awards, making my senior debut at just 17 against Linfield. I play Gaelic football for my local club (Newry Shamrocks GAC), who I have played with for the past 15 years. I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to represent my county at minor level reaching the Ulster final and All Ireland semi-final. I have represented Northern Ireland in soccer playing for the U-18 school boys’ team, playing internationally. By competing at this level I found that I was always push myself to do better. This would help me in a business environment as I would always be aspiring to do the best I can possibly could. Being part of a team from a young age has developed my teamwork and leadership qualities, which is helpful when working with others.
