Functions of Management Paper
Prepare a 700-1,050-word paper in which you E In your paper, include an explanation of how each function relates to your own organization. Be sure to cite at least two sources in your paper.
Be sure to properly cite your references. If you used an electronic source, include the URL. If you used a printed source please attach a copy of the data to your paper.

Managing a business can be very challenging, properly trained staff and advanced research can stir a company in the right direction of being successful. The four functions of management are also essential tools to guide a company to achieve its goals. The first component of managing is planning. Management should have determined organization goals and also come up with a plan to achieve those specific goals. A substantial amount of this information will be outlined in the vision and mission statement for the business. Managers are responsible for organization of the company and this includes organizing people and resources. Knowing how many employees are needed for particular shifts can be critical to the success of a company. If those employees do not have the necessary resources to complete their jobs, organization has not occurred. Without an organized workplace, employees will see a manager as unprepared and may lose respect for that particular manager’s supervisory techniques (Rothbauer-Wanish,).
My previous employer was a career school in Pennsylvania. The school is somewhat successful, but I strongly feel that if the school was more organized and set more time frames, that their success would sky rocket. I have attended one of the competitor schools in the past and was very pleased with the education that I received there. The company I worked for focused more on money and student enrollment instead of highly trained instructors to educate students to the highest level. Students complained after graduation the lack of
