Fear is a powerful emotion that can be channelled, transformed, and utilized in a positive way –if and when people are willing to face it and move through it consciously. It is an essential part of growth and can be used in a positive way for authenticity and fulfilment – if people were willing to deal with it in a direct, honest, and conscious way. It is not only a person can sense danger in an effective way but also means that he is able to recognize fear as the natural response that it is. (Robbin, n.d.) This research aims to find out the positive effects of fear to human activity. This study will show how fear can help a person in developing way of thinking and decision making. Moreover, it will help a person deal with fear in an optimistic way. When talking about fear, people come to think that it can paralyse one’s life. As a result, people tend to suffer such anxiety disorders, stress-related illnesses, insomnia, etc. The researchers are trying to figure out why people experience fear, what causes fear, the effects of fear, how do people overcome fear, etc. For supplementary information, the researchers conducted an interview with Mr. Armando Aguado, a psychology professor in Mapua Institute of Technology-Intramuros campus.
