Introduction
Banana is a tropical plant classified as annual and it produces very abundantly. It is cultivated throughout the country especially in the provinces. “The king of the fruits”, mango fruit is one of the most popular, nutritionally rich fruit with unique flavor, fragrance, taste, and health promoting qualities making it a common ingredient in new functional foods often called “super fruits”. Banana is one of the delicious tropical seasonal fruit and believed to be originated in the sub-Himalayan plains of Indian subcontinent. Botanically, this exotic fruit belongs to the family of Anacardiaceous, a family that also includes numerous species of tropical fruiting trees. The focus of the researcher is not the fruit but the Banana sap produces stain on the clothes and such stain is difficult to remove. This observation gave the researcher the idea of using the mango sap as substrate for pen’s ink with the thinking that the banana sap could stabilize ink. The purpose of this study is to utilize the banana sap as an alternative ingredient which very abundant source of quality ink. In addition, it maximizes the use of banana which grows abundantly in any rural areas and that it minimize the problem on waste disposal. The researcher also considers the challenge of doing this project being the first to do this study. The excitement as to the output will work or not is another point of consideration.

Objectives of the study

The study focuses on the possible use of one of the byproducts of banana-the sap specifically an ingredient for making ink:
1. To find out if it is possible to produce a better quality of ink out of banana sap. 2. To compare the ink produced to the commercially available ink in the market.

Statement of the Problem The study wishes to answer the following questions: 1. Is it possible for banana saps to be an ingredient for making ink? 2. Which is better, the ink produced

The term F.U.B.A.R originated in World War Two and was used as a military acronym by United States soldiers. During World War Two, F.U.B.A.R was used to describe the chaos and bedlam involved with trench warfare. It is unknown what word the term originated from, but it is suspected that it comes from the German word Furchtbar, which means terrible. F.U.B.A.R can be translated into two ways, Fucked Up Beyond All Repair, and Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition. Despite having slightly different connotations, both translations essentially mean the same thing. F.U.B.A.R is now an official military acronym used in order to deem a situation (or target) as utterly destroyed. Similarly, Fubar is a slang term which means botched, ruined, or completely messed up.…

The project, utilization of lemon grass (Cymbopogon citrates) as craft paper manufacture, can benefit all the people including the students, for it can save money from buying commercial craft papers. It can also lessen the cutting of trees which is the main source of paper. The proponents of this study want to know if the lemon grass paper can be a good quality of paper compared to the commercial ones. The materials of this project are all locally available. The procedure starts with the washing of lemon grass and having it air dry. When the leaves are dry, weigh the leaves and cut it to smaller pieces. Place the leaves in the beaker with NaOH and boil it in the stove with medium fire. After boiling, wash again the leaves and grind it. Place the leaves in the molder and let it dry. In the data, figure 1 states the comparison of lemon grass with commercial craft paper. It is stated that the color, odor, texture and the prices of these papers are different but the quality is the same. In figure 2, there are two trials; the grass boiled for 10 minutes and the grass boiled for 30 minutes. It is shown in the data that the second trial is better than the first. The proponents have proven that paper can be made of lemon grass and is different with the commercial craft paper. The use of bleach and fabric conditioner can make the quality of the paper…

The present investigation was carried out to evaluate physico-chemical properties of some mango varieties for pulp processing. The varieties taken for evaluation were ‘Kesar’, ‘Alphanso’ and ‘Dashehari’ as treatments with seven replications. The physico-chemical quality for fruits of mango varieties were compared and it was found that fruit weight (g), pulp (%), peel (%), stone (%) and crude fibre (%). The variety ‘Kesar’ was superior over the other while, in case of their chemical attributes in fresh pulp, it was found that the 'Alphanso' was superior in total sugar (%), pH, acidity (%) and T.S.S. (oBrix). In storage the compositional changes in mango pulp made from different mango varieties were followed through periodical evaluation. It was found that moisture level in pulp was increased up to 3 months and than decrease slightly during entire period of storage. T.S.S. was remained more or less stable during entire period of storage. Total sugar (%), reducing sugar (%) and acidity (%) was increasing during entire storage period while pH was decreasing.…

Good afternoon, everyone. Today we are very pleased to present to you an interesting research topic that we have experimented upon for the past few months. That research topic is the comparison and evaluation of marker inks derived from two natural sources. Now, the history of markers dates back to 1910 but until the present time, people still use them in their daily lives. However, we are not aware that some commercial marker pens contain harmful chemicals like Xylene which is a flammable liquid that can be fatal if swallowed. It can also cause other harmful effects such as nausea, dizziness and the like. Another chemical marker pens have is tuolene which is a clear liquid commonly found in gasoline. Too much exposure to it can cause headache, sleepiness and deteriorates one’s ability to think vividly. Because of these, we have made it our goal to use natural products such as fruits specifically blueberries and strawberries as compared to the commercial markers without excluding the longevity and quality of the ink. This gives us the ability to answer the question “Can natural sources be used in the production of marketable ink?”…

It underwent boiling in water, then in NaOH solution, and then lastly in soda ash solution to separate the cellulose fibers from the lignin and other extraneous components. The leaves were rinsed thoroughly and strained in between the boiling processes. It underwent pounding and beating with a mortar and pestle. The banana pulp was bleached with calcium hypochlorite and hydrogen peroxide, and was washed thoroughly to removed any trace of chemical.
