APWH Exam Review Guide
This is basically everything we’ve ever learned in APWH, which I’ve compiled all into one study guide for use on the AP Exam. I know it’s a lot, and I apologize: but we’ve learned a lot. I’ve gone through the entire Princeton Review Book: reading, highlighting, and annotating to make sure I’ve covered everything important, along with outlines, handouts, websites, and other books. I really want everyone to do well, and I know you all will anyway—but I think this will help. I’m sorry if I’ve missed anything, but I don’t think there are any errors.
I apologize if some charts or symbols don’t load/are loaded weird on your computer. (e.g. I made several pyramid charts of social structures which may not load due to lower versions of MS Word, in which case I strongly recommend you get someone else to print out the study guide for you, because they are important.

I would name the school based on the country there in or by a historical event that has happen in the past that had a good out come on their country. The reason that I have come up with this choice is because it seem like a good I deal to do it that way. More people would rather it be this way then just a random name with a thought about it. I would name the mascot after the main person that was in charge of the historical event that happen and make the mascot after that person. The reason for this choice is because it wouldn't be right to just have the school name represent the historical event without a mascot there isn't a good reason to have the name just represent the event.…

The last example given does not use punctuation to set off the appositive from the rest of the sentence, but the others do. Here is why: If the sentence can be understood without the appositive, the writer uses punctuation to set off the appositive. If the sentence cannot be understood without the appositive, the writer does NOT set off the appositive with punctuation marks. In the first example given, the name of the top student is a minor detail, so Margaret Talbot sets off the appositive with commas. In the final sentence, Kyoko Mori has several cousins; it is essential that she tell the reader which cousin she is describing , so she does not punctuate the appositive.…

After reviewing these documents it is clear that the Roman’s and Han’s attitudes towards technology differed from person to person. For the most part, Romans disapproved of new tools that were being invented, unimpressed by hammers and tongs, they thought tools were useless and made people indolent. On the other hand, most Hans thought technology was a wonderful thing, making peoples lives easier and completing tasks faster. To better understand the Roman and Han impression on technology, one must understand their opinions and situations regarding the use of new tools and other technological advances.…
