A Successful Chinese Restaurant
Chinese Dragon is a Chinese restaurant which locates in the Maple Grove, Minnesota. It’s a nice place to treat a friend good food and rest. In there, you will find a diversity of Chinese food and desserts in service. This essay will evaluate Chinese Dragon in two different aspects, the atmosphere and the food service. The first thing I want to draw attention to this restaurant is the good atmosphere. When you are walking in to the restaurant, the soft music you hear will make you relax. The warm welcoming atmosphere surroundsyou; the servers are saying “Welcome! How are you sir?” This is a successful factor. You can think aboutthefollowing situation. When you are going to a place where the atmosphere is loud and negative, it just makes your first experience bad. You may even not go to there twice. The bad atmosphere would make you annoyed and upset. If you have children along with, it would be even worse. You are still in the process of settling in. You are not quite ready for your server to come to your table, waiting you for order. You don’t even have a time to drink a tea, look at your menu because you have to look after your children.
The food service is another thing I need to highlight. Once you placed an order, you don’t have to wait for long time. You will get your order within ten minutes. This is good because for some people, they are very hungry when they walk in to the restaurant. They still have to wait for another half hour or more time to get food, which is annoying. Also, the staffs at Chinese Dragon restaurant are very accommodating for anyone who needs to place a special order. They are good about getting food for children first. They will recommend the children meal for them. This factor makes the restaurant so much better.
In a conclusion, the Chinese Dragon restaurant is very successful because of their excellent eating atmosphere and good food serving. They have considered many aspects that other restaurants do not even thought.

If a restaurant wants to be the best, then they have to meet some criteria in order to do so. The first defying factor, is whether the atmosphere the restaurant has, is an enjoyable one. Next, in order to have a good experience at that restaurant, the service has to good. This means not only friendly service, but quick service as well. Of course the most important factor, that determines how good a restaurant is, has to do with how good the food is. If food quality is poor, then that can really put a bad image on that restaurant. Lastly, after all of the other factors, was the experience, and the food worth…

Their attention was focused on the task at hand and there was no sight of anyone being unproductive. When we entered the restaurant, we were given a warm and friendly greeting by a hostess. The wait for a table on a Friday night was only about 20 minutes, and the electronic guest caller made the waiting experience hassle free. From the time we were sat, and throughout the entire dining experience, we never felt rushed and all of our requests were accommodated. We observed all staff conduct themselves in a professional manner. Training was evident in the manner we were spoken to, especially when the server suggested a number of items seamlessly. She displayed a great deal of product knowledge and was not too pushy when it came to…

Asian Legend provides very excellent meal and personal service compare to other restaurants in Chinatown. There were approximately 30 customers in the restaurant, however, only 4 waiters were in charge during the time we visited. The service we received was marvelous. The servers first started up by introducing the types of tea that will be served, including Jasmine, Oolong and Pu Er, and the tea will be served based on customer’s preference. Most importantly, the servers was very patient and clear on explaining the menu to customers that are not familiar with Chinese cuisine. The dish were served very quickly after the orders were completed. With four dishes we ordered, they only took fifteen minutes to serve all of them to the…

When I went to Big Bowl- an authentic Chinese and Thai restaurant- with my mom, one of the first things I noticed was that they had great service. Right when we walked in, a lady came up to us and seated us. Right after, they gave us menus and asked us what drinks we wanted. They waiter was a very nice and patient gentleman. We ordered quite fast, and our food came even faster! The cooks at Big Bowl were even kind enough to have my mom's source on her stir fry be more mild than spicy, just as my mom asked. I have been to tons of restaurants in my lifetime, many of them having very crabby waiters or very…

For my book review, I decided to learn more about the history of Chinese restaurants in the American culture. So for this assignment, I am reviewing the book From Canton Restaurant to Panda Express: a history of Chinese food in the United States by Haiming Liu. It talks about the journey from the California gold rush to the present day through the lens of food and the evolution of American-Chinese cuisine. It also talks about how Chinese food changed and how it influenced American culinary cultures and how Chinese restaurants became a place where shared ethnic identity if affirmed. The book also talked about national chains such as P.F Chang’s and Panda express and how Chinese food culture continues to spread around the globe. For over 150…

After visiting these five restaurants I found that in general the service was satisfactory, although some restaurants were providing higher quality service than others. For example, Q-doba’s and Giovanni’s operations were focused primarily on speed of service rather than customer experience. While Wild Ginger and Backyards Bistro were focused on delivering an overall dining experience which included not only good food but a certain ambiance with waiters to take your order and a hostess to seat you; this was much different from the assembly line speed with which Giovanni’s or Q-doba’s operate. Mr. Wraps, adheres to neither of these operational approaches it is primarily a take-out place with a sporty ambiance and quick service. Observing each of these restaurants it became clear that speedy service and a good product were not the only important qualities to satisfying a customer. In general it was important to the customer, me, that the employee be personable, genuinely interested in making my experience a…

Restaurants are a very huge industry and have the option of succeeding or failing depending on what and how they go about advertising and promoting their concepts. Moreover, restaurants have many critics that can affect their business as well. Everyone’s opinions on overall dining experience differ from one another. My best friend dined Bombay Chopsticks and didn’t have positive feedback. I wanted to go there as well for a long time, so my boyfriend and I went on a dinner date at Bombay Chopsticks. Bombay Chopsticks is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and it is known for unique Indian dishes blended with Chinese seasoning. What I am going to discuss about this restaurant is the setting, cleanliness, and service of this dining experience to help you better understand what this restaurant has to offer to its many customers.…

A while back, when I was a freshman in high school, I took a trip to New York City. I was absolutely amazed at all of the tall buildings, lights, and people. My family and I were ecstatic about everything. The first place we visited was China Town for the various shopping venues that it had to offer. As time passed, we decided that we were going to eat there as well. We went to a place called “Dim Sum” an authentic Chinese restaurant. The waiters and waitresses could not even understand what we were saying to them, but fortunately my cousin Chris is married to a woman from China that guided us and helped us order. If Wen was not with us, I am not really sure what we would of done. I am assuming we would have just pointed at the items we wanted to order. As I was…
