Convergys continues to expand – to hire 4500 agents in the Philippines
Convergys Corporation, a global leader in relationship management, continues to expand in the Philippines and plans to hire approximately 4,500 more agents between now and the end of February for its 12 contact center facilities in the Philippines. Marife Zamora, Convergys Vice President and Country Manager, said that the continued demand from their blue chip international clients to place their operations either partially or fully in the Philippines is a testament to the quality of service their agents provide on a daily basis.
At the recent inauguration ceremony of Convergys’ Glorietta facility, the company launched the “Wear Your Dreams” campaign, a new venture with Bench where the hired recruits between now and end of December will be a “walking dream ambassador” after receiving an exclusive Convergys-bench T-shirt.
Convergys, as defined by its core set of values, is committed to building from within by emphasizing talent development among its employees. Through a number of training and development programs provided, employees can build a future with Convergys and move into bigger roles throughout the company. All their facilities are closely integrated into their “Global assurance Network”. This gives them control of their end-to-end operations and processes, and assures high flexibility for their clients.
