A Feature Article – Bullied bullying bully
Nowadays in our society, many people suffering in different kinds of bullying, for example: Cyberbullying, Disability bullying, Gay bullying, School bullying, Sexual bullying or even Workplace bullying etc. No matter how old are you, you may also have such kind of experience. Almost a third of teens either were bullies or were bullied, some of them even afraid to wake up to go to school. ” Bullying is when a person is picked on over and over again by an individual or group with more power, either in terms of physical strength or social standing. ”
First of all, Cyberbullying mean any bullying done through the use of technology, like using email, instant messaging, text messaging, websites, social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Wei Bo etc.) Although the person does not get any physical influence, he or she will get a psychological influence inside their heart forever.
Moreover, School bulling is the most common bullying happen in our daily life. Your friends, your son, your students, your neighbor even yourself were the victim. Two of the main reasons student in school were bullied are because of their appearance or their social status. The other thinks they are not fit in, maybe because of how they look, how they act (for example, kids who are shy and withdrawn), their race or religion, or because the bullies think they may be gay or lesbian.
So however, how do we prevent bullying? Or how we can face it? It is in the hands of everyone. Their parents, teachers, friends or even social workers need to listen and watch. For younger kids, the best way to solve a bullying problem is to tell a trusted adult since they can help you by their experience of life. If you are in a bullying situation that you think may escalate into physical violence, try to avoid being alone and if you have a friend that in this situation, spend as much time together as you can since it can let he or she having more security.
