We went to U.P. diliman to search for a man named Dennis Magtajas also known as Zorro of U.P .

We waited for him the until sunset to show up but unfortunately he didn’t.

so we decided to go home and try our luck on the next day.

the next day, we wandered the streets of teachers village hoping that we could find the person that we are looking for. A tricycle driver told us where zorro keeps his cape. We hurriedly went to “krus na
Ligas” for a short interview and the driver didn’t disappoint us.

Selfie with Zorro

• Zorro's true identity behind the mask is a man named
Dennis Magtajas. Dennis's life as a typical person is touching I may say. After his father died of Liver Cancer, his mother raised him all by herself. As a child, Dennis was admired by his teachers in school. He got lots of achievements during grade school until he reaches the age of six(6). Sadly, his mentality as a six year old kid remains as he grew old up to his present age. Zorro was his favorite film. Dennis used to wear cape and act like
Zorro eversince he was a little boy. Doctors believe that the movie influenced him a lot upto the present time

In chapter 13 zombies was a popular myth in Haiti; and was believed to be people who die and are called back to life by witchcraft. This chapter talks about Zora’s personal experiences in Haiti and Jamaica where she participated as in initiate rather than just an observer of voodoo practices. During her visits she stayed with several types of voodoo priests. (Houngans and Bocors) She witnessed various ceremonies with her own eyes. The religion is a mishmash of Christian and African elements. Often after reciting a Catholic litany of saints, a litany of loas (voodoo gods) is chanted as well. The voodoo gods are separated into the Rada or Arada gods (the good ones) and the Petros gods (the evil one). Zora never says if raising the dead is done…
