Zeus Role In The Odyssey
Greek mythology can be described as a collection of magnificent and enchanting stories about the adventures of many gods, goddesses, and heroes. Greek mythology also represents many themes such as hospitality, control, and revenge. Zeus is a very important character in Greek mythology because of his role in many myths and the Odyssey.

Zeus is the mightiest of all of the Olympian gods, and he owns all of the heavens(Hamilton27). He is the youngest son of Kronos and Rheia(Atsma). Kronos eats all of his children, however, Rhea saves Zeus(Atsma). Zeus eventually kills Kronos, and he frees his siblings(Atsma). Zeus is married to Hera and has many children including Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, and Ares(Hamilton27).
