Zac Posen, A currently well known fashion designer. He is 36; Born October 24, 1980 in New York City. He got awarded with the CFDA: Swarovski’s Perry Ellis Award or Womenswear (2004). He is in a relationship with Christopher Niquet since 2008. After he made a dress for Naomi Campbell he received prominent career opportunity in 2000. He met his future publicist and event producer Ed Filipowski through Interview magazine Editor in Chief Ingrid Sischy. Zac Posen was courted by fashion titans Yves Carcelle, president of LVMH Fashion Group; Sidney Toledano, CEO and director of Christian Dior S.A. and Domenico De Sole, president and CEO of Gucci Group NV; after his first runway show in 2001. He's been awarded the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s 2004 Swarovski’s Perry Ellis Award for womenswear. …show more content…
People love his clothes so much that in 2012 Glenn Close wore one of his gowns in the Academy Awards. So did Reese Witherspoon and Naomi Watts wore his things at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. Sofia Vergara also wore his clothing at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards. Uma Thurman at the Red Carpet Event. Anna Chlumsky at the 2014 Emmys Awards and Rita Ora at the 2014 AMA Awards. Even last year Delta Air Lines uniforms were designed by Zac Posen. Those events are very popular and just that they wore one of his clothing shows how good he is. 5 years ago on December 18 Posen was an official judge on Project Runway season 11.
