2.3 Planning for year round tourism
Many touristic destination were rapidly developed with a short-term income focus, leading to places that are visited only few months a year. This is as a result of the lack of proper tourism planning development. Taking a sustainable tourism approach can lead to the redevelopment of such areas and enhance their identity as a destination for all year around. Developing a strategic tourism plan for such areas, is crucial to identify the values, resources and opportunities the area and the region possesses to develop new services or other types of tourism. In the section below are listed some of the new types of tourism that can be developed in Sunny Hill.

The innovation of this tourism strategy lies in creating the network of all small scale tourism actors in the area and coordinate their activities throughout the regions [Altitude Mont Blanc,2013]. The project has linked agriculture operators ( farm owners, shepherds, local product producers of honey, jams, cheeses and wine), independent nature guides and local inns and hosting places, artisans (mostly wood products and sculptures) and local cultural sites in order to promote sustainable tourism development as a method to diversify touristic services and create an international known tourism destination [ExodusTravel,2016].
In terms of marketing and promotion, all actors involved have equally invested on creating an info web service and online marketing.
