It has long been questioned whether we are more a result of our genetics or our environment, with some suggesting that talent is the major factor in becoming successful. Others, however, believe that training and hard work are more important. I will examine this and furnish my own view below. Medicare part A is the hospital insurance and it will pay your mother's hospital bill one hundred percent because she has met the three day minimum hospital stay criteria. That cost will include room and board and services such as lab work, any therapy she may have received during her stay as well as pharmacy. Since your mother also has Medicare part B which is the medical insurance, part B will pay eighty percent of the physician’s services as long as her annual deductable has been paid. Unless your mom has supplemental insurance coverage also known as Medigap insurance, she will be financially responsible for the twenty percent that part B Medicare does not cover. A Medicare supplement referred to as (Medigap) insurance, sold by private insurance companies, can help pay some of the costs that Medicare doesn't cover. Medicare.gov[11/04/12]www.medicare.gov/supplement-other-insurance/medigap/whatsmedigap.htm. A couple of examples of Medigap insurance companies are AARP, Humana, and Agis. You will have to pay the private insurance company a monthly premium for your Medigap policy just as you would any insurance policy. Keep in mind that premium will be in addition to the monthly Part B premium that you pay to Medicare. In order to qualify you must have Medicare part A and B. That maybe something you and your mother may want to look into.…

Company X needs to consider a few factors to ensure FMLA compliance. Paternal leave is included under FMLA, so Company X was in compliance when they granted leave to Employee A (assuming the employee has also worked a minimum of 1250 hours). Employee A was eligible for 12 weeks of leave, but voluntarily decided to return early. FMLA does not require Company X to pay Employee A while on leave, denying that request was also in compliance with the law. Company X met…

Of course there is natural talent; it is not a myth. This can be seen from the achievements of people like Mozart, Michelangelo, and Einstein etc. These people have more natural aptitude than others in certain areas. However, talent can only get them so far; instead, hard work and dedication is what has turned them into the ‘greats’ that we know them as now.…

In some cases, the child may inherit some genes, which would enable him/her, to become a very good dancer, pianist, painter, etc., but if the child is not able to follow up with studies, experience, or training in a particular field, it would be unlikely that they would excel in that area, simply by means of the genetic inheritance. Finding an excellent instructor to train and encourage the child is usually the key to developing their potential, with or without inheriting some particular genes.…
