World War II lasted about 6 years from 1939 to 1945. The WWII is the deadliest war in history. WWII involved more the 30 countries and in the end 85 million military and civilian deaths. During this time there was many dictators on the rise: Benito Mussolini(Italy), Adolf Hitler(Germany), Joseph Stalin(Soviet Union), Winston Churchill(United Kingdom), Hideki Tojo and Fumimaro Konoe(Japan), Franklin Delano Roosevelt(United States).What started WWII were the Italian fascism in 1920, the Japanese invasion of China in 1930, takeover of Germany by Hitler and the Nazi Party in 1933, and when Britain and France declared war on Germany when it invaded Poland in 1939.
